The World Cup is finally here with only 23 days to go! Offline and online we are inundated with the festive spirit in the form of yellow and gold paraphernalia be it banners, clothing, accessories and toys….. the BUZZ is awesome. Online you can research teams and player info, game fixtures and even make purchases, making it easy for the man-in-the-street to be totally connected and in the “know”. Even though ecommerce is still not mainstream in South Africa over 33% of people online are there to research products and opinions in order to make a purchase decision and as our infrastructure matures we will see the volume of sales increase.
