Virtuosa is a digital marketing agency with a team of professionals with years of experience, working with Blue Chip Brands. We develop fully integrated digital marketing strategies that provide measurable results based on a company's business objectives. We are passionate about what we do and we take our work seriously but have great fun doing it.
Virtuosa is offering a three to six month internship to a highly a meticulous, motivated, and detail oriented individual to support our SEO efforts. Responsibilities include researching target search terms, identifying areas for optimization improvement, and tasks related to all aspects of internet marketing and search engine optimization (client website analysis, competitive research analysis, key phrase mapping, on-going monthly SEO development, site traffic analytics, monitoring client progress and client reports).
This position can become permanent based on performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Running reports and capturing data
- Participating in blogs, forums and social media platforms
- Doing research online
- Writing and/or editing content for websites
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of search engines, websites and social media
- Basic understanding of how search engines rank pages
- Proficient in Excel
- Fast learner, positive attitude (no moaners please) and initiative
- Eager to learn and gain valuable real-world experience
- Very strong research and analytical skills
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to accomplish tasks independently or work on a project in a team environment
- Team player
- Lateral thinking and creative problem solving
Personal Skill/Attributes
Motivated, passionate, involved and keen to take on new challenges.
Experience in the following would be advantageous
- Experience using a Content Management System would be an advantage
- Knowledge of HTML & web design
- Prior experience with Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool a plusl
- Blogging
- Software/Website testing
